Monopoly
So, I once again find myself
falling
face first
into a new
unexpected
unwanted
part of life.
I never said
nor did I want to say
that this was
where
it'd end
even tho
I knew
I've always known
that sorrow must precede
and follow
every blissful moment
And when you return
to start
DO NOT collect,
the starting point is the same
but it feels changed
You bring your experiences
let them make
a different you
only the core remains
and adapts
or dies and rots
inside
I want to thank you
for bringing me
one step closer to
who
I
shall
become
And I want to curse you
for making it all to clear
that who I am
never will match
your expectations
So go, and please pretend
the moment is gone.
So, I once again find myself
